The official website of Kuroko no Basuke ( Kuroko’s Basketball) confirmed that Kensho Ono and SCREEN mode will sing the opening and ending theme for the Kuroko no Basuke 3rd Season’s Teikou Arc.

Kensho Ono, who does the voice of the series protagonist, Tetsuya Kuroko, will sing the second opening theme of the series “Zero”. Zero is Kensho Ono’s second single and will be released on 8 April 2015. Besides doing voice acting, Kensho Ono sings and is a recording artist under Lantis. He made his official debut last 2014 February when he released his 1st single “FANTASTIC TUNE”. Fantastic Tune also served as Kuroko no Basuke’s Season 2 second ending theme.

SCREEN mode with members voice actor, Yuu Hayashi/Yuu (vocals) and music producer Masatomo Ohta/Masamoto (guitar) will perform the second ending theme “Ambivalence“. This is SCREEN mode’s fifth single after their single Kyokugen Dreamer (極限Dreamer), which served as Yoru no Yatterman’s opening theme. Their single, Ambivalence,  will also be released on 8 April 2015.

Additional voice cast to the new arc was also announced. SCREEN mode’s Yuu Hayashi (Ryuunosuke Tanaka in Haikyuu!) will be portraying Shigehiro Ogiwara, Kuroko’s childhood friend and the one who taught Kuroko how to play basketball. Playing the captain of Teikou Junior High, Shuuzou Nijimura, is Ryotaro Okiayu ( Byakuya Kuchiki in Bleach). Shuuzou Nijimura was the captain for Teikou basketball team before Akashi Seijuurou (CV: Hiroshi Kamiya) took over.

Kuroko no Basuke is a manga written by Tadatoshi Fujimaki and was serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump from 2008 December to 2014 September. The anime is now on its 3d run and is a two-cour series. The current season premiered last 10 Jan 2015.
