The official website for Live Spectacle Naruto announced that FLOW is providing an image song, “Hikari Oikakete” for the stage play. FLOW is a familiar face in Naruto since 2004. Their song “Go!” was used as 4th opening theme of Naruto. It was followed by “Re:Member”, Naruto’s 8th Opening theme, as well as “Sign”, Naruto Shippuuden’s 6th Opening theme.

Of all the songs that they had performed in the past, this new song “Hikari Oikakete” will be different from the usual flair. The members, comprising of Keigo Hayashi/Keigo (vocals), Koushi Asakawa/KOHSHI (vocals/guitar), Takeshi Asakawa/Take (guitar), Kasutarou Gotou/Got’s (bassist) and Hiroshi Iwasaki/Iwasaki (drums),  conceptualize the song with the image of the audience in mind. They wrote the image song,“Hikari Oikakete”, to let the audience feel satisfied as the play draws to a close.

Hikari Oikakete will be available digitally on 21 March 2015, the same date as the premiere of the stage play.

The musical is part of the Naruto Shin Jidai Kaimaku Project ( Naruto New Era Opening Project) and will showcase an ensemble of song and dance numbers. The musical is covering the manga’s story arc from the first volume until the 27th volume. The musical will kick off at the AiiA Theater Tokyo from 21 March to 5 April 2015. It will also have performances in Fukuoka from 10-12 April 2015, Osaka from 17-19 April 2015, Miyagi from 23-25 April 2015 and back to Tokyo from 29 April – 10 May 2015.

Overseas fans will be able to catch the musical when it opens at Macau’s Venetian Theatre on 22-24 May 2015, in Malaysia at the Malaysia International Exhibition & Convention Centre on 30-31 May 2015, and in Singapore at the Resorts World Theatre Sentosa on 6-7 June 2015.
