[ANIME] Boruto steals the spotlight from his dad in the very first Boruto -Naruto the Movie- teaser PV

Naruto and Hinata’s son, Boruto, is finally getting his first starring role with the upcoming Boruto -Naruto the Movie-, and with its August premiere fast approaching, the movie’s official website has finally started streaming the movie’s very first teaser PV.

The video first explains Naruto’s legend and how he came to be… until Boruto interrupts the whole thing and in a fashion reminiscent of the actions of his father’s youth, he makes it his own. Well, somebody’s a chip of the old block, huh?

The movie also hints at some of Boruto’s relationships, with the “hero” being his father, Naruto Uzumaki, Meanwhile, the “master” is Sasuke Uchiha, and the “rival” being Sasuke’s daughter, Sarada.

The official website also confirms that Junko Takeuchi (PreCure series’ Cure Rouge and One Piece’s Sabo) will be returning to voice her most iconic character, the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, while Noriaki Sugiyama (Fate’s Shirou Emiya and Bleach’s Uryuu Ishida) will be returning as Sasuke Uchiha.
