With Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto manga now over, all eyes have now fallen on his and Hinata’s son, Boruto, who will be starring in his own movie alongside Sasuke and Sakura’s daughter, Sarada. New screenshots from the movie have finally been revealed, and it shows the two leads along with their respective fathers.

Earlier this week, its full poster was also unveiled, and it features Boruto announcing that he is ready to take the spotlight away from dear old dad. Of course, he is doing it in a method that Naruto is all too familiar with.

Weekly Shounen Jump! meanwhile unveiled the seiyuus who will be lending their voices to Boruto and Sarada. The feisty Boruto Uzumaki will be voiced by Yuko Sanpei, who voices Cure Dream in the PreCure series as well as Renton Thurston in Eureka Seven. Sarada Uchiha meanwhile will be voiced by Kokoro Kikuchi, who previously voiced a younger version of Boruto in The Last: Naruto the Movie. Kikuchi also voiced Akito in Air Gear and Kruppoh in Toriko.

Boruto: Naruto the Movie will be directed by Hiroyuki Yamashita, who is definitely no stranger to Naruto as he directed several episodes for Naruto Shippuuden and was the animation director for Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie. The movie is scheduled to premiere on 7 August 2015 in Japan.
