Daisuke Ono is finally getting his own one-man live, and is heading straight to the Nippon Budoukan for two nights straight!
Daisuke Ono is the voice behind Black Butler’s Sebastian Michaelis, Durarara!!’s Shizuo Heiwajima, K’s Kuro Yatogami, and Magi’s Sinbad, is one of the most popular male seiyuus today. He is also currently reprising his role as Itsuki Koizumi for The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan, which is part of the Haruhi Suzumiya series.
Although he has been a permanent fixture on the annual Original Entertainment Paradise live concerts (or OrePara in short) together with fellow seiyuu-anisong artistes Mitsuo Iwata (graduated), Kenichi Suzumura, Showtaro Morikubo and new addition Terashima Takuma, he remains the last one without a live concert to call his own. With this announcement OnoD will now be bringing his signature dance-pop tunes like Netsuretsu ANSWER, DELIGHT, and KISS KISS KISS to the renowned Budoukan. To many Japanese artistes, the Nippon Budoukan is one of the most hallowed stages reserved only for the best performers, and for Budoukan to be the venue for his first solo concert is certainly cause for celebration.
His very first Budoukan live concert is titled “Unlimited Door“, and will be held at the world-famous venue for two nights on 16 and 17 January 2016. This news also broke many Uta-puri fans’ hearts by dashing their hopes of seeing rival group HE★VENS at the next Uta no Prince-sama, Maji LOVE LIVE 5th Stage.
Ono will also be releasing his fourth mini album titled “Doors” on 1 July 2015. The mini album will include his seventh single, “Mission D“, which was released last year and will be sold will be sold at 2,600 yen plus tax. “Doors” will also include instructions on how to apply for his January concerts at Nippon Budoukan.
