We are almost halfway through the Spring Anime season! What anime titles have you been enjoying so far?

Before each season, there is always much hype over some high-profile anime titles. Have this season’s A-listers lived up to fans’ expectations? Let’s check it out with the results of a mid-term 10,000 anime fan poll!

A Charapedia poll conducted in early March polled anime fans for their most anticipated titles for Spring season.

As expected, most fans favoured familiarity. Existing titles such as Gintama, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU and Nisekoi topped the poll over new titles such as Shokugeki no Soma and The Heroic Legend of Arslan.

My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU and Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] were the top choices for male fans, while female fans voted for Gintama and Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ Maji Love Revolution. Without any doubt, the results across the board were dominated by existing titles.

In a follow-up mid-term poll which concluded last week, fans were polled again for the Top 30 titles they will continue watching.

My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU TOO! has definitely lived up to fans’ expectations, moving to the top of the list, followed closely behind by Seraph of the End and Gintama.

Some of the new titles that have piqued the interest of fans include Seraph of the End, The Heroic Legend of Arslan, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? and Blood Blockade Battlefront, which have moved up the ranks! Other titles to look out for include Ore Monogatari!! and Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, the latter rising to 14th position despite being unlisted in the previous poll.
