With sold-out shows in Tokyo, Miyagi, Fukuoka, and Osaka, the popular live-action musical based on Masashi Kishimoto’s beloved ninja manga series, Live Spectacle NARUTO, is getting ready to hit Asia starting next month with Macau, Malaysia and Singapore.
The show promises a “true experience of seeing Naruto and his friends in real”, where you will be laughing and crying with them. It is definitely a must-watch experience for all fans of the popular ninja anime and manga series. Live Spectacle NARUTO also promises plenty of action and acrobatics as you would expect from the Naruto franchise itself.
Kodai Matsuoka will be playing the young ninja, Naruto Uzumaki, while Sasuke Uchiha is being played by Ryuuji Sato, and Sakura Haruno is being played by Yui Itou. The other cast members include Kenta Suuga as Gaara, Yuuki Kimisawa as Kakashi Hatake, Asahi Uchida as Zabuza Momochi, Hidekazu Ichinose as Iruka, Kazuhiro Hirakawa as the Third Hokage, Miho Imamura as Haku, Hiro Yuumi as Orochimaru, Yoshiaki Umegaki as Jiraiya, Tatsunari Kimura as Kabuto Yakushi, and many more.
The costumes and make-up are a detailed recreation from the series, so it almost as if you were watching a live-action movie, except that everything will be unfolding in front of you in real-time.
The play will be returning to Tokyo’s AiiA Theater from 29 April – 10 May before heading to their first international destination, which is Macau’s Venetian Theater from 22 – 24 May 2015. It will then head to South East Asia, starting with Malaysia’s Malaysia International Exhibition & Convention Centre from 30 – 31 May before heading to its final stop, Resorts World Singapore, from 6 – 7 June 2015. It really does seem that Resorts World Singapore is more than ready to host the feisty and mischievous ninja and his friends!
