Sui Ishida’s bestselling action-horror manga series, Tokyo Ghoul, is getting itself its very own live-action stage play adaptation. The official website has just unveiled its latest key visual image, which features actor, Yuuki Ogoe as the half-human half-ghoul hybrid main character, Ken Kaneki.

Ogoe previously starred as Ryoma Echizen in the second season of the Prince of Tennis Musicals. He also appeared as Daiki Satou in Kamen Rider Den-O and as Ramon/ Basshaa in Kamen Rider Kiva. Here he is inviting everyone to check out the live-action stage play

Chuuji Mikasano, who wrote then script for the first season of the Tokyo Ghoul anime series, is also writing the script for this play with Isamu Kayano as the director. The play will be performed at the AiiA 2.5 theater in Tokyo from 2 – 8 July before heading to the Kyoto Gekijou from 19 – 20 July.

The website also announced that pre-reservations for the tickets will begin on 8 May and will end on 14 May while the regular sales begin on 23 May. Premium tickets will cost 10,800 yen while regular tickets cost 7,000 yen. More information will be made in the days to come.
