New additions to the anime adaptation of Trigun creator, Yasuhiro Nightow’s popular action manga series, Blood Blockade Battlefront or Kekkai Sensen have been announced. The a mysterious mushroom-like alien and a couple of delivery men.
The mysterious mushroom-like alien is named Neji, who will be making its first appearance on the anime’s 6th episode. Main character, Leo Watch, will be befriending this new character, who is voiced by none other than Okue Ootani. She is definitely no stranger to voicing non-human characters, as she is known for voicing One Piece’s Tony Tony Chopper as well as Pikachu
Also joining the cast are a couple of delivery men, Roger and Martin. Voicing the two will be guest seiyuus, Kouzou Shioya (Dragon Ball Z’s Majin Buu and World Trigger’s Motokichi Kinuta) and Yuki Kaji (Attack on Titan’s Eren Yeager and High School DXD’s Issei Hyoudou) respectively. Both will be making their appearances during the sixth episode, just like Neji. Guess which seiyuu is voicing which character?
Blood Blockade Battlefront’s sixth episode will premiere in Japan on 9 May 2015.
