In the wild and wacky world of Gintama, nothing would be surprising to anymore. The latest episode promises to gender bend everyone (except Shinpachi and Hijikata for some reason), the cast who will be voicing the characters’ gender-bent versions have finally been revealed.

Ginko Sakata (Gintoki) will be voiced by Haruka Tomatsu, best known for being the voice behind Sword Art Online’s Asuna. Meanwhile, the Mansengumi (Shinsengumi)’s Goriko Kondou (Isao) will be voiced by Chiaki Takahashi, best known for voicing Azusa Miura in the [email protected] series.

The gender-bent Kagura, Kaguraton, is as MANLY as you would have imagined he would be, and he will be voiced by Kouji Ishii, who has voiced Garterbelt in Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt. Sadaharu meanwhile gets a species-lift as he is now a horse named Usagiumaharu instead of a gigantic puppy.

Toushirou Hijikata becomes X-ko Hijikata, who weirdly enough, only becomes fatter and he is still voiced by his usual seiyuu, Kazuya Nakai. However, his rival, Sougo Okita, becomes Fusako Okita, and she is voiced by none other than the voice behind Hinagiku Katsura from Hayate the Combat Butler!, Shizuka Itou. Shinpachi meanwhile will stay virtually the same, the only difference is that his glasses are PINK
