After wowing people and drawing many fans with the first Little Witch Academia at the 2013 edition of Anime Mirai, the premiere date for the second part of the now-classic anime short has now been revealed! The new sequel will be shown during the Anime Expo event in Los Angeles, California.

The sequel, titled Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade, will premiere on 3 July 2015 at 5:45 p.m. local time in L.A. (Pacific Standard Time). Two renowned directors from Studio Trigger, Hiroyuki Imaishi (Kill la Kill and Ninja Slayer), and Yoh Yoshinari (Little Witch Academia), will be in attendance and participate in a Q&A session with several other guests. Both directors have a ton of anime experience as they have worked on both Kill la Kill and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

Trigger’s now-famous animated short made its debut during the 2013 edition of the Anime Mirai, and it became an instant hit. Because of its popularity, people wanted a sequel, and thanks to a crowdfunding project on Kickstarter, Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade is now made possible as the movie reached its US$15,000 goal is just 6 hours.
