Issue #28 of Weekly Shounen Jump! magazine has unveiled the Boruto: Naruto the Movie character designs for the Naruto franchise’s two most recognizable characters, Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. It presents Naruto as the mighty Seventh Hokage, while Sasuke is still looks the wanderer we last saw in the manga’s 700th and final chapter.

Previously, the magazine also revealed the character designs for Boruto: Naruto the Movie’s three main characters, Boruto Uzumaki, Sarada Uchiha, and Mitsuki, who was revealed in the pages of the Naruto Exhibition’s guest book, which was illustrated by Naruto creaor, Masashi Kishimoto himself.

Boruto: Naruto the Movie will premiere in Japan on 7 August with Hiroyuki Yamashita, an episode director for Naruto Shippuden, will be directing the anime movie. Meanwhile Naruto creator, Masashi Kishimoto, has been quite active in the movie’s production as he is credited with its original story, script, and character designs, as well as being the movie’s chief production supervisor.

The movie will follow Boruto, Naruto’s son, who was previously introduced in the manga’s final chapter. Even though he is the son of the Seventh Hokage, Boruto does something unexpected and asks his father’s rival, Sasuke, to be his master.
