There are some fans who certainly take their fandoms to the extreme, and one of them is Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh! fan, @db_hopeslash, who posted some amazing 3D shadowbox cards that he made out of Yu-Gi-Oh! trading cards

Yu-Gi-Oh! is a trading card game (TCG) which is known for sacrificing cards in order to use even more powerful ones, and that process seems to reflect how @db_hopeslash made his wonderful creations as he used a hobby knife to cut up some Yu-Gi-Oh! cards and use them for his masterpieces. Here are a few of his works.

It’s a shame that some cards were sacrificed, but then again, this is Yu-Gi-Oh! we are talking about and they have contributed to something greater.
