With the all-star cast voicing the sextuplets already announced, the official website to the new Osomatsu-kun anime has revealed the upcoming anime’s very first PV. While the first two series were shown back in the 60’s and 80’s had featured the sextuplets as 10-year old kids, the new PV reintroduces them as adults.

The website also revealed that a special screening event will be held for 16 October in Tokyo, and its main cast, which comprise of Takahiro Sakurai, Yuuichi Nakamura, Hiroshi Kamiya, Jun Fukuyama, Daisuke Ono, and Miyu Irino will be in attendance.

Also announced is the seiyuu who will voice the girl (now a woman) the six brothers are all in love with, Totoko. She will be voiced by none other than Aya Endo, best known for being the voice behind Macross Frontier’s Sheryl Nome (talking voice) and Gundam Build Fighters Try’ Mirai Kamiki.

Osomatsu-kun will be returning as an anime after a long 27 years. Although this is third time the evergreen manga will be receiving an anime adaptation, it will be first time it is being animated after its creator’s passing in 2008. The first anime adaptation was launched back in 1966 and ran till 1967, while the second adaptation ran from 1988 till 1989. The story revolves around the sextuplets who were all in-love with a girl named Totoko. The comedy that ensues but this new series will now follow the sextuplets as adults, as they were previously featured as 10-year olds in the manga.
