While the panel, which also included Yu-Gi-Oh! manga creator Kazuki Takahashi, did not announce which countries they will be releasing Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions movie in, they have announced that the movie is slated for a spring 2016 release in Japan and that the international releases will also happen later in the same year. Meanwhile, here is the newly-revealed poster visual for the movie, which features the tagline “Once more, to that fighting stage.”

It also seems that Takahashi is quite busy with the movie as he not only serves as the chief production supervisor for the movie, but is also credited as its character designer and script writer.

This new Yu-Gi-Oh! movie will feature the return of two of the franchise’s most popular characters, Yugi and Kaiba Seto, who will be returning with upgraded versions of their two respective signature cards, The Dark Magician and the Blu-Eyes White Dragon. The movie’s story is slated to take place six months after Takahashi’s manga ended.
