[NEWS] Kyoukai no Rinne reveals Kain and Sakura Mamiya's mother

The official website for Kyoukai no Rinne reports the addition of Aya Endou and Fumi Hirano to the cast of Kyoukai no Rinne. Rising seiyuu star, Aya Endou (Sasako in Shirokuma Cafe) will do the voice for the mother of Kain (CV: Soma Saito).

While  veteran seiyuu who famously did the voice of Lum in another Rumiko Takahashi earlier series, Urusei Yatsura, Fumi Hirano, will voice Sakura Mamiya’s mother.

Aya Endou is set to join Soma Saito (Adlet Mayer in Rokka no Yuusha) in the Kain arc episode. She will appear on the episode 18 of the series. Sakura Mamiya‘s mother, on the other hand, will appear on episode 20 of the series.

Kyoukai no Rinne is a manga written and illustrated by famed manga artist, Rumiko Takahashi. The series is currently in serialization in the Weekly Shounen Sunday magazine since 22 Apr 2009. This rom-com tells the tale of Sakura Mamiya(CV:Marina Inoue), a high school girl with special abilities — she can see ghosts much to her annoyance. She gets to have an encounter with Rokudou Rinne(CV:Kaito Ishikawa), a jack-of-all-trade shinigami, who also happens to be her classmate. With their fates intertwined, can Sakura see beyond her ability and accept it?

This two-cour series is airing every Saturday on NHK’s E Tele channel.
