Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece manga is a bestseller manga series, not only in Japan but throughout the entire world by millions of fans. One fan from China, Zhong Zhengxiang, created a very beautiful 3D fanart from the series, and it’s as realistic and beautiful as they get.

By using many different programs such as ZBrush, Maya, Mudbox, and Photoshop, Zhong Zhengxiang created what can be called a 3D masterpiece, which he describes:

The original idea comes from Gol d. Roger was beheaded and his son Portgas·D· Ace repeated his father’s fate in a decades later. There’s a important person I have to mention is Navy General Monkey D. Garp. He is Gol·D ·Roger’s best friend and also rise Portgas·D· Ace up as his own family member.But they are also navy and pirates hostile relations of contradictions.

It shows between the friendship mingled with the hostile relations’s in the contradiction results.

While they did not meet their demise at the exact same time, both Ace and Gold Roger were presented in public as pirates about to be executed. To make fans even more tearful, it’s the fact that Gold Roger is actually Ace’s father. Hits you right in the feels, doesn’t it? To make matters worse, it also features Monkey D. Garp, the Marines vice admiral who executed Gold Roger and raised his son ace. How heartbreaking indeed.
