As Prison School is known for its graphic nature and ecchi situations, this new show will be a late-night series, and will be directed by The Machine Girl director, Noburo Iguchi, over at Studio ROBOT.

When he was told of the live-action drama adaptation, Iguchi himself could not believe it and asked if it were real. He then admitted that he jumped into the project because he did not want to waste this opportunity to adapt such an “amusing” manga. The cast for the new project is yet-to-be-announced, and Iguchi asked the fans to wait a while longer for their announcement.

The drama series is set to be aired via TBS starting this October 2015. It is set in Hachimitsu Private Academy, a former all-girls school which just admitted its first five male students. However, these five were quick to find out that being the only five guys in school is not as heavenly as one might think, especially with the underground student council dishing out some very painful and embarassing punishments.
