After months of speculation, Nintendo’s bestselling video game, Splatoon, has announced that they will finally be releasing an official Squid Girl costume for their hit game as a DLC.
The DLC is announced to be free and will be available in the game’s big 6 August 2015 update, which will also include 40 other costumes, two new game modes, an updated ranking system, an increased level cap, and a new spinner weapon. Here are the details on the squiddy new Squid Girl costume:

A new cross-over artwork has also been revealed:
Squid Girl mangaka, Masahiro Anbe, is a huge fan of the game, even releasing crossover artworks for Shounen Champion magazine and Weekly Famitsu magazine.
