Ted and Kumamon are two of the most iconic bears in the world, along with Monokuma, Yogi Bear, Smokey the Bear, and Winnie the Pooh. These two bears have recently met up to promote the upcoming Ted 2 movie, which premieres in Japan on 28 August.

Ted’s official Facebook fanpage has uploaded the images from the first meeting between Kumamoto Prefecture’s iconic bear mascot and Mark Wahlberg’s vulgar and hard-drinking BFF, which actually happened inside Kumamon’s office that is located at Kumamon Sqaure.

Even though they are both bears, and are both really famous around the world, Ted and Kumamon actually form an odd couple of sorts. I wonder what they were talking about? Hopefully, Kumamon doesn’t get some bad influence from Ted.

But after meeting Kumamon, Ted wasn’t done at all! Ted tried to do something many armies have tried to so, and that is to attempt and conquer Kumamoto Castle, one of Japan’s most famous castles.

However, things did not seem to get in poor Ted’s way… but then again, he was warned.

These two bears aren’t strangers with other celebrities too! Ted, who as we all know has worked with his “Best Friend”, Mark Wahlberg, and “GOD“, Morgan Freeman, has also worked with Danganronpa’s Monokuma to promote the game’s anime adaptation Blu-ray release.

Meanwhile, Kumamon has been known for his celebrity tie-ups, from Tekken, Yowamushi Pedal and Rurouni Kenshin, to his recent run-in with Keanu Reeves in a local Japanese racetrack.
