Jun Maeda and Key Visual Arts’s latest TV anime, Charlotte, is currently one of the most popular and intriguing anime this season. And the latest announcement will thrill many fans, because the anime’s volume 7 Blu-ray/ DVD release will include a special unaired episode.

The series is slated to run for 13 episodes, but this newly-announced episode will be a Blu-ray/DVD exclusive and will feature an original story not found in that 13-episode run.

This unaired episode will be bundled with the anime’s 7th and final volume, which includes Charlotte’s 13th and final episode. A special limited edition version for Vol. 7 has also been announced, and Jun Maeda has penned a character commentary track for it.It will be released on 23 March 2016.

The standard edition Blu-Ray version is priced at 7,000 yen, while the DVD version is priced at 6,000 yen.
