In her official blog, seiyuu, Hitomi Harada has announced that she will be going on a short hiatus due to an injury she had sustained when she accidentally slipped and fell on her hip on a wooden floor.

In her blog, she said that during a rainy day, she was buying some refreshments but had accidentally slipped and fell outside the store. She had herself examined and was hospitalized immediately afterwards.

That nasty fall led her to fracture her tailbone, and because of this injury, she was forced to cancel all her engagements and appearances for the months of September and October. She said that her injury might get worse if she pushed herself too hard with her jobs, so she chose to take a short break to recover. She then said that she will now focus on treating her fractured tailbone and apologized to fans as she is forced to cancel all her appearances for the entire month.

Hitomi Harada is best known for her role as the female lead for Baka and Test: Summon the Beasts, Mizuki Himeji, and The Unbreakable Machine Doll’s Yaya. And starting next month, she will be appearing in the yuri ecchi battle anime, Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid as Momoka Sagara.
