The anime is based on Full Metal Alchemist and Silver Spoon mangaka, Hiromu Arakawa’s bestselling manga, which itself is based on Legend of the Galactic Heroes creator, Yoshiki Tanaka’s epic historical novel. The series follows Prince Arslan, who together with Daryun and his other subjects, must retake his kingdom of Pars from invaders. The first TV anime ended with fans left hanging as it ended with Arslan’s army ready to march into the capital.
