First, we got a taste of the new Evangelion Shinkansen, and now, thanks to Sharp and 7-Eleven, we are not only getting the new sim card-free Evangelion smartphone, but we will also be getting life-size figures of Rei, Asuka, and Kaworu.

For a limited time between 31 October and 12 November, 7-Eleven will be holding a lottery for the right to buy life-size figures of Rei Ayanami, Asuka Soryuu Langley, and Kaworu Nagisa. The winners of the lottery will then have to pay a measly 1,728,000 yen in order to get that figure. Really cheap, huh?

Rei measures in at 158cm while Asuka comes in at 157cm. Kaworu, on the other hand, is a bit taller (as he’s a guy) at 166cm.

Meanwhile, Sharp has finally unveiled the Evangelion Smartphone, which is sim free and comes at the very CHEAP price of 84,240 yen. This is really just pocket change, right? In our previous article, the phone was projected to cost at around 70,000 yen or more, but it’s a bit more expensive than that, huh?

The phone comes with voice packs from Asuka, Rei, and Masato Katsuragi, who you can choose to wake you up and greet you good morning every time. The phone also features a different wallpaper everyday and runs on an Android OS. Pre-orders for the phone begin on 2 November.
