Sony’s official Japanese website has unveiled a brand new PS Vita design, and it is inspired by DMM and Kadokawa’s highly-popular ship girl-raising game, Kantai Collection. The game will be ported onto the PS Vita version, and is scheduled to be released on 18 February 2016.

The special Kantai Collection PS Vita unit is now available for pre-orders and costs 20,980 yen. Sporting a white body, it features Shimakaze’s Rensouhou-chans, which often serve as the franchise’s mascots… other than Shimakaze herself of course. It will feature a special KanColle wallpaper and theme, and will be released simultaneously with the PS Vita version on 18 February. The console however, will not be bundled with the game software.

Also revealed is a new PV, which introduces us to various fleetgirls, including the anime’s main character, Fubuki, who is a starter ship in the original PC game. It also takes a look at some abyssal ships, like Hoppo/ Northern Princess, and the dreaded Battleship Princess.

The game’s regular edition release costs  5,800 yen, while the limited edition release is priced at 9,800 yen.
