As smartphones are becoming an essential part of everyday life, Bandai Namco has launched a new smartphone app dedicated to Gundam fans, and it is called the “Gundam Fanclub”. Not only does it allows fans to get Gundam news, but fans can also get to watch full episodes of several Gundam series right in the palm of their hands!
The app will be launched on 1 October 2015 and will deliver up-to-date Gundam series and GunPla news, along with the full episodes. The app however, is not free as it costs 600 yen per month, however, there is a 7-day free trial.
Available for iOS and Android smartphones, the Gundam Fanclub app also includes an archive of Gundam photographs and artworks from its rich 35-year history. Fans can also get to watch the latest episodes of the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, the latest anime to be added to the ever-growing Gundam franchise.
Fans can also check out the latest GunPla releases, as well as other Gundam-related merchandise. There will also be member-only freebies such as Gundam Cafe discounts. However, the app is currently only available in Japan and no word if it will be released to other countries abroad.
