The official website of talent agency I’m Enterprise has announced that popular seiyuu Chiwa Saito has given birth to her first child, a daughter, who came into this world in January this year.

Set to reprise her role as Hitagi Senjougahara in Owarimonogatari, the pregnant seiyuu will be taking a break from work as she needs to prepare for one of the greatest roles she will have in her life, to become a mother. She has apologised for having caused some inconvenience due to her fragile health and pregnancy. She is also thankful to everyone for their support.

Chiwa Saito announced her marriage to a man outside of the seiyuu or anime industry earlier this year. She is best known for her roles as Hitagi Senjougahara in the Monogatari series as well as Homura Akemi in Madoka Magica.

So from us to the lovely seiyuu, whose roles have touched many, we congratulate you on your baby girl and wish you good luck!
