Toyonaga revealed that his bride is not someone from the industry and that he has known her for four years now. He also revealed that he and his new wife have already submitted their wedding registration and have also gone through a wedding ceremony.

He also revealed in his blog that he was supposed to announce his marriage during his solo live, Today You Laugh last 25 October, however, he changed his mind after consulting family and friends that it would have been better to reveal it to everyone at the same time rather than revealing it only to the people attending his concert.

He not only voices Dollars leader, Ryuugamine Mikado in Durarara!!, but Toshiyuki Toyonaga also performed the OP song for Durarara!! x2 The Second Arc, “Day You Laugh.”
