As the prequel anime to Osamu Tezuka’s classic manga series “Young Black Jack” enters the Muzanchou arc, eight new additions to the anime’s cast have been announced.
These eight new characters will be appearing in episodes 9 and 10 and are inspired by characters from other Osamu Tezuka mangas such as Dororo. In fact, the arc itself was inspired by the Dororo manga. One example is Mamoru Miyano’s character, who is inspired Hyakkimaru, or Junji Majima’s character who is inspired by Tanosuke. The titular Dororo himself even inspires one character, and it’s the one voiced by You Taichi.
