[ANIME] A Certain series teams up with Heavy Object for a special collaboration celebrating author Kazuma Kamachi

Japanese light novel author, Kazuma Kamachi, is celebrating 10 years as one of Japan’s most celebrated light novel writers. Two of his most popular works, the A Certain series (Both A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun), and Heavy Object, are collaborating for a special shop, which will not only sell merchandise from the author’s titles, but also several crossover goodies featuring both A Certain series and Heavy Object.

Officially called the “Heavy Object x To Aru Majutsu no Index PREMIUM SHOP in Shibuyamarui, the shop will be open on 22 December, and will be held at the Shibuya Marui Department Store’s 8th floor event space. On 23 December, seiyuus  Rina Sato (Mikoto Misaka) and Eri Suzuki (Milinda Brantini) will be officially opening the shop, and will also be doing a talk show. This special collaboration shop will be open for a limited time, which will only be until 7 January.

And speaking of Mikoto and Milinda, both of these “elites” will be featured in a tapestry (wall scroll) together, which will be sold in the shop. Meanwhile, A Certain Magical Index’s ever-unlucky main character, Touma, will be visiting the world of Heavy Object in a brand new booklet, titled  “Touma Kamijou Visits Another World”, which will also be sold in the shop.

Prizes, which include autographed scripts, will also be given away, while other merchandise, such as buttons and 2016 calendars, will be sold.
