The official Kizumonogatari website has announced that the second film in the Kizumonogatari trilogy of films, which serve as the prequels for the Monogatari series anime, will be making its premiere sometime in summer 2016.
The second film is titled Kizumonogatari II: Nekketsu-hen, and the website added that advance tickets for this second part will be going on sale starting 8 January 2016. Advance tickets will be worth 1,300 yen.
Meanwhile, to promote the first movie, Tekketsu-hen, the official website has also announced that Kizumonogatari has teamed up with Seibu Railways for special Monogatari-themed train cars. These trains will be seen transporting passengers between Shinjuku Seibu Station and Honkawagoe station until 22 January 2016. The movie is set to open in Japanese theaters on 8 January.
