The animation for this new anime will be produced by BONES, with Gundam Build Fighters director, Kenji Nagasaki, at the helm. He will be re-teaming with Gundam Build Fighters writer, Yousuke Kuroda, for this much-anticipated anime adaptation.

Based on Kouhei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia) manga, it is set in a world where super powers are commonplace. However, it follows one boy without any powers (or quirks) at all, Izuku Midoriya, who despite not having any powers, he still dreams of becoming a hero.
