During the Jump Festa 2015 event, a brand new PV for one of 2016’s most anticipated anime “My Hero Academia” was revealed, introducing us to the main cast. The PV, which was premiered during the event, is now being streamed via TOHO Animation’s YouTube channel:

The video introduces us to the anime’s main characters, Ochako Uraraka (CV: Ayane Sakura), Tenya Iida (CV: Kaito Ishikawa), Katsuki Bakugou (CV: Nobuhiko Okamoto), and the two previously revealed characters, main protagonist, Izuku Midoriya (CV: Daiki Yamashita) and All Might (CV: Kenta Miyake).

The event also revealed that the anime is slated to begin its broadcast on April 2016, along with a brand new key visual image, which not only features the anime’s five main characters, but also the tag line, “YOU CAN BE A HERO.”:

The animation for this new anime will be produced by BONES, with Gundam Build Fighters director, Kenji Nagasaki, at the helm. He will be re-teaming with Gundam Build Fighters writer, Yousuke Kuroda, for this much-anticipated anime adaptation.

Based on Kouhei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia) manga, it is set in a world where super powers are commonplace. However, it follows one boy without any powers (or quirks) at all, Izuku Midoriya, who despite not having any powers, he still dreams of becoming a hero.
