Several huge announcements regarding the Milky Holmes franchise were revealed during the “Detective Opera Milky Holmes 2016 Big! Project Unveiling” event last 20 January. The biggest of these announcements is the fact that Milky Holmes is getting a live-action variety show titled Mirumiru Milky.

The live-action variety show is slated to premiere on April 2016, and will be hosted by the series’ main seiyuus, who comprise of Suzuko Mimori (Sherlock Shellingford), Sora Tokui (Nero Yuzurisaki), Mikoi Sasaki (Hercule Barton), and Izumi Kitta (Cordelia Glauca). Not much information about the play has been revealed so far.

The event also announced that the series’ four main seiyuus will also be appearing in a concert from 14 – 15 May at the Makuhari Event Hall in Chiba. The concert, titled “Live Milky Holmes Souten Nenshoku Sai,” is a tie-in concert for the second Milky Holmes album, Souten Nenshoku, which is scheduled for release on 2 April.

The event also unveiled a new Milky Holmes Pachi-slot Machine, which has “over 5,000 newly recorded words of dialogue from over 50 characters.”

Suzuko Mimori (Sherlock Shellingford), Sora Tokui (Nero Yuzurisaki), Mikoi Sasaki (Hercule Barton), and Izumi Kitta (Cordelia Glauca) also appeared on stage during the event to reveal the new Monchichi dolls, which turn each member of the detective office into a Monchichi doll. Each doll is scheduled for release in November.

And finally, the event revealed that there will be an official Milky Holmes specialty store opening in 13 February, and it will be located in Kotobukiya Akihabara.
