Brace yourselves, because in 2016, the Black Swordsman cometh. As promised, the NBC Universal booth has shown the very first PV for the new Berserk anime during Comiket 89, which will be coming in 2016, and without further ado, here it is:

The video however, it did not specify the format of this new anime, whether it will be an OVA, an ONA, an animated feature film, or a TV anime.

A new official website for this new anime has also been launched, and it reveals a brand new key visual image, featuring Guts as the Black Swordsman:

Berserk mangaka, Kentarou Miura, has revealed that this new 2016 anime will be animating Guts as the dreaded Black Swordsman. More details will be revealed in the days to come.
