The Pokemon Trading Card Game has been part of many’s childhood. Each Pokemon card, apart from energy cards, features a distinct and beautiful artwork, some of which, are illustrated by well-known illustrator in Japan.

However, these artworks are often confined to a tiny window, making of them somewhat unappreciated. One fan is now trying to changed that by customizing a few Pokemon trading cards, and turning them into fantastic pieces of art.

Lunumbra’s Awesome Painted Cards is a Facebook page which features some customized Pokemon cards, which have been combined with the artist’s painting skills to truly bring out the artworks from these cards.
Check out some of her works, which range from common Basic Pokemon cards, to the much rarer Legendary and Second Stage Pokemon cards.
