The actor who got the role of Kuroko Tetsuya for the live-action stage play adaptation of Kuroko’s Basketball could not get any more perfect, as it will be played by the same seiyui who voiced the anime character. A new visual has been revealed for the upcoming play, titled “Kuroko’s Basketball: The Encounter,” and it featured not only Ono as Kuroko, but also fellow actors, Yuuya Asato as Taiga Kagami, and Shoutra Onume as Daiki Aomine.

In a statement, Ono revealed that he was very happy to get to play Kuroko Tetsuya once again. He also said that he wants to show a new side to Kuroko’s Basketball to the fans, and told them to look forward to the play. So he not only voices Kuroko Tetsuya in the anime, but also plays him in the live-action version?! What dedication to a role indeed!
