If you can’t get enough of ERASED, also known as Boku Dake Ga Inai Machi, there is also a live-action film, which will be premiering in March. MaiDiGiTV has started streaming two new videos from the upcoming film. The trailers take a behind-the-scenes look at the movie adaptation of Kei Sanbe’s critically acclaimed murder mystery manga, which has made many fans wondering what might happen next.

The first video features actor, Tatsuya Fujiwara, as he gets ready for the scene where his character, Satoru Fujinuma, finds his mother’s murdered body. The second clip, meanwhile features young actor, Tsubasa Nakagawa, playing the younger Satoru, taking instructions from director Yuichirou Hirakawa.

The manga follows struggling mangaka, Satoru Fujinuma, who has travel powers, known as “Revival.” One day, he finds his mother murdered in his home, and must now use his “Revival” powers to solve the mystery of her death. That mystery involves a girl named Kayo, who Satoru knew as a classmate back in grade school, and her death in the past will affect his life in the future. The movie’s cast will comprise of:

Meanwhile, March is shaping up to be a big month for the franchise, because not only will the manga end in March, but the live-action movie is slated to premiere on 19 March, just a few weeks removed from when the manga’s final chapter will be released. The manga itself has been nominated for the Manga Taisho Awards, and the awarding ceremony will be on 29 March. Should ERASED win the award, this would truly mean that next month would be the biggest one in the franchise. A spin-off novel has also been announced for release during the same month.
