Sanami Suzuki’s supernatural manga, The Little Match Girl (Match Shoujo), is getting adapted into a live-action movie, and it will feature a few well-known Japanese celebrities as part of its cast, which is headlined by SKE48 idol, Sumire Satou, who plays the titular “Match Girl” herself, Rin. A new visual has revealed her in costume:

The manga follows a mysterious girl named Rin, whose matches have the power to turn delusions into reality. In the manga, she interacts with several people with darkness in their hearts, and her matches somehow help them. The manga itself is inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s classic story.

Three of the people with darkness in their hearts have also been cast, and they include the seiyuu behind Kuroko Tetsuya from Kuroko’s Basketball himself, Kensho Ono. The other two will be played by . BOYS AND MEN male idol group members, Yutaka Kobayashi and Takafumi Honda.

The live-action film adaptation of Sanami Suzuki’s The Little Match Girl manga is slated for a 28 May 2016 premiere in Japan.
