The live action of the love comedy “My Love Story” or more commonly known as “Ore no monogatari” has opened in selected theaters in Malaysia and will be coming to Singapore next week on the 3rd of March! Opened on late 2015 in Japan, the movie earned  US$1.1 million on it’s opening weekend. The franchises was  originally create by Kazune Kawahara (writer) and Aruko (illustrator).

Ryohei Suzuki the man behind hit comedies like “Hentai Kamen” and the sick brother in the award wining drama “The Emperor’s Cook” will be playing the lead character Yuriko Goda.

Tickets are now available in Malaysia via Golden Screen Cinema and for pre-order on Golden Village website.

Synopsis:

Takeo Goda (Ryohei Suzuki) is a high school student 2 m tall and weighing more than 100 kg. He has a righteous character. The male students adore him, but female students do not like him. All of the girls Takeo likes prefer his handsome friend Makoto Sunakawa (Kentaro Sakaguchi).

One day, Takeo saves female high school student Rinko Yamato (Mei Nagano) from a pervert on the train. Takeo falls in love with her at first sight. He feels Rinko likes Makoto, but Makoto isn’t the one she likes. Takeo struggles to liaise between Rinko and Makoto.
