Toyota’s new Prius! Impossible Girls has gotten anime fans and car junkies talking, as Toyota has turned car parts into moe anime girls. Previously, they released a new song produced by OSTER Project and performed by the Vocaloid, GUMI. Now, Toyota has released a different version of the song, this time performed by Kana Hanazawa, who voices the 2ZR-FXE engine.
The video features the song, “Shijo no Koe,” contains lyrics that are actually taken from the words of people who were asked to test drive a Prius. In other words, what Kana Hanazawa is singing about are the actual feedback Toyota has gotten from some happy test drivers.
Toyota turned every part of the car into a Prius! Impossible Girl, from the steering wheel to even the door chime, from the car exhaust to the radio to the car cooling system and even the air-conditioner. This new promotion also includes a game, several other ads, and upcoming merchandise. Meanwhile, Kana Hanazawa, who has been quite active in this new project, has posed with a dakimakura of her character, 2ZR-FXE engine.
