The final episode of the anime adaptation of Natsume Akatsuki’s KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world!! light novels ended last 16 March, and the anime ended with one very special announcement – they are getting a second season, and promises that viewers will get to see them again soon.
The final episodes end card, which features Aqua, is illustrated by the light novel’s illustrator, Kurone Mishima. As seen above, it confirmed that season 2 is now in production. Mishima also celebrated the news by tweeting this celebratory image of Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness.
Details on when the anime, which is animated by Studio Deen, will return has not been revealed so far, however, an OVA is expected to be shipped in June 2016, along with the light novel’s Vol. 9. EXPLOSHION!!!!!!!!!!!!
