Kyoto Animation, also known to fans as KyoAni, is one of the most social media-savvy animation studios in Japan, and one of the most followed. The studio, which is responsible for such hits such as K-On!, Hyouka, the Chuunibyou Series, Free!, Clannad, and the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, has recently reached 50,000 followers on twitter, and this is how they reacted:
京都アニメーション公式Twitterが5万フォロワーを突破しました!皆さま本当にありがとうございます!感謝の気持ちをアニメーションにこめてお届けします。これからもよろしくお願いします!https://t.co/l8U2uz5llNpic.twitter.com/g2yHQ2W7Bv

Now ain’t that just kawaii? Using their signature moe art style, the GIF features a girl and her cute little friend, and was presented as a sketch animation.
According to the text, the staff thanked all their followers and the short animation is a symbol of their gratitude.
“The official Kyoto Animation Twitter account now has 50,000 followers! Thank you very much, everyone! We want to express our gratitude with this animation. Thank you for continuing to follow us!”
The animation may have been simple, but you can really feel the love, huh? I wonder what they would do when they reach 100,000 followers?
