The Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn OVA/ Movie series will be getting remade into a TV anime starting 3 April. Daisuki, which will be streaming the anime internationally, has released a brand new English-language PV, which re-introduces us to the Universal Century in the year UC 0096.

The video also gives us a taste of the anime’s OP song, “Into the Sky” by Hiroyuki Sawano’s new vocal project,  SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]:Tielle. A Japanese language version of the PV was released earlier, however, the video is region-locked and can only be watched in Japan.

Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE:0096 will be a remaster of the original Gundam Unicorn OVAs/ Movies to fit a television audience. The series it set to span 24-25 episodes according to web releases. The original OVAs/ Movies ran for a total of around 390 minutes while a 2 cour anime season would run around 600 minutes in total, which might mean that we can expect to see additional scenes we did not see in before.
