The stage musical adaptation of Masashi Kishimoto’s international bestseller, Live Spectacle Naruto, is coming back for a brand new run. The show will have many of their original cast reprising their roles, with Ino and Shikamaru being recast, and Rock Lee joining the musical play.

Koudai Matsuoka will be reprising his role as Naruto, as would Ryuji Sato as Sasuke Uchiha, Yui Itou as Sakura Haruno, Kenta Suga as Gaara, and Yuuki Kimisawa as Kakashi Hatake. New visuals for these actors in costume have also been revealed:

The role of Ino Yamanaka, which was previously played by Anju Inami, who is now involved with AQUORS and Love Live! Sunshine as Chika Takami, will now be played by  Kaoru Fujiki, while Shikamaru Nara will now be played by Tatsuya Kobayashi, after being portrayed by Tsubasa Hattori. Rock Lee will be played by Yugo Sato.

The play will first be performed in Osaka, at the Umeda Arts Theater, from 30 July until 7 August. It will then head to Tokyo, at the AiiA 2.5D theater from 13 – 28 August 2016. No international performances have been announced thus far, but stay tuned for more details.
