Next month, Harajuku district’s AREA-Q will be hosting Fate/ Grand Party, which will be a cafe and exhibition celebrating Type-Moon’s very first smartphone game, Fate/ Grand Order (FGO).
It will feature several FGO-inspired food, beverages, and desserts, as well as show off some new FGO merchandise and exhibits. It will also feature some of the game’s Heroic Spirits being turned into maids and butlers. NOW LET THEM EAT CAKE!
Rider (Marie Antoinette)
Saber (Attila the Hun)
Archer (Arjuna) and Lancer (Karna)
Limited goods and special coasters will also be available for Fate/ Grand Party, which will be held from 13 May until 12 June 2016.
Coincidentally, Maid Marie Antoinette’s visual was released on 25 April, the very same day that the first man who was executed by guillotine, highwayman Nicolas Jacques Pelletier, met his fate. If you know your world history, you might know the fate of Marie Antoinette, as the doomed French queen was executed via guillotine. Cake anyone?
