With the premiere of Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin III: Dawn of Rebellion, it was announced that the origins arc for Char and Sayla will be concluding in part IV, which is titled Mobile Suit Gundam the Origin IV: Unmei no Zenya (The Fateful Eve). Part IV will follow that fateful meeting between Char and Lalah, and also promises to feature Char’s future rival, Amuro Ray, pilot of the RX-78-2 Gundam, as well as the scientist responsible for making mobile suits possible, Dr. Minovsky. New screenshots for Part IV have also been revealed:

It was also revealed that after Char and Sayla’s origin story ends, a new one will begin, and it will follow the Battle of Loum arc, which is a battle which takes place during the One Year War, before the events of the original 1979 anime. The Battle of Loum takes place in Side 5, also known as Loum, and this is the very battle where Zeon’s ace mobile suit pilots like Char, Johnny Ridden, Shin Matsunaga, and the Black Tri-Stars made a name for themselves. The anime adaptation of the Battle of Loum will begin in 2017.
