In celebration of the Kingdom Heart Games’ 15th anniversary, Square Enix and Disney are launching a special musical world tour. This highly anticipated tour will be a mix of classical music and video games, which is called the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra -World Tour-. But before that, they are also holding a brass and wind ensemble called Kingdom Hearts Concert -First Breath-.

The Kingdom Hearts Concert -First Breath- brass and wind ensemble concert will playing pieces from the games’ soundtrack, and the show will kick-off in Tokyo featuring the Siena Wind Orchestra on 11 August, with two performances. The show will then head to Nagoya, featuring the Osaka Shion Wind Orchestra, on 27 August, before they head to Osaka on 28 August 2016.

The real show starts in 2017, when the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra -World Tour- will begin in Japan, before heading to France, the UK, Singapore, China, and then in the United States, with a total of 15 performances across five countries and three continents.

While the orchestral band is playing, well-timed images from the game will be flashed on screen, which will result in a unique marriage of music and gaming. It will come to Singapore for two days, from 6 -7 May 2017, at the Esplanade Concert Hall. The concert’s other stops also include:

  • London, England (Central Hall Westminster) 24 – 25 March 2017

  • New York, New York  (United Palace Theatre) 24 June 2017

Advance ticket sales will open outside of Japan on 30 April 2016. More details about their Singapore performance will be made in the days to come.
