The summer edition of Wonder Festival is already coming this 24 July in its traditional home of Makuhari Messe in Chiba, and the event’s two mascots, Wanda-chan and Reset-chan, are going full summer mode in a new visual, complete with water guns and swimsuits.

Yotsuba&! and Azumanga Daioh mangaka, Kiyohiko Azuma, has once again provided designs for the festival’s two mascots, after previously doing the visual for this year’s Winter WonFes, as well as last year’s Evangelion-themed designs. This would be the third time he will be illustrating the two mascots, which were originally designed by the late Keinojou Mizutama, who passed away in 2014.

A new WonFes exclusive figure, which is part of the Wonda-chan NEXT DOOR project, has also been teased. The illustrator for the figure is still a big secret, though more will be revealed in 22 June.
