From 17 – 18 September, Japan’s old capital of Kyoto will be welcoming anime fans all over the globe for their annual Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair (KyoMaf), and what better way to promote the ancient city’s appeal to anime fans than four very hot anime titles?
Kyoto may be best known to anime fans as the home of Kyoto Animation (K-On!, Free!, Chuunibyou, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya), but for this year, they are teaming up with four anime titles which would certainly make the female anime fans swoon. They have released four new visuals, each one featuring a character from that partner series, and their background is a certain Kyoto landmark.
Here’s a closer look at these four visuals:
Hoozuki no Reitetsu
Bungou Stray Dogs
The Seven Deadly Sins
Black Butler
More collaboration posters are expected to be revealed next month. The event is considered as “the largest manga and anime comprehensive trade fair in the West Japan,” and it will be held in the city’s Miyako Messe from 17 – 18 September 2016.
