The upcoming Final Fantasy 3DCG film, Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, is definitely one of the most anticipated 3DCG animated films. To keep the fans even more excited for the film, Square Enix has announced that there will be a TV special to be aired in Japan before the film premieres.

The special is called FFXV UNIVERSE REPORT, and it will not only feature the film, but also grant fans a behind-the-scenes look at the Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV anime and the main game itself. It will air this 6 July 2016, which is just a few days away from the film’s 9 July 2016 premiere date in Japan.

Meanwhile, Sony Pictures Entertainment has started streaming a new English trailer for the film, which also reveals that the film will be released in the U.S. in selected theaters starting 19 August 2016.

The English version stars Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings actor, Sean Bean, as Regis Lucis Caelum, the king of Noctis. It also stars Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul as Nyx Ulric and Sean Bean’s Game of Thrones arch nemesis, Cersei Lannister herself, Lena Headey as Lunafrena Nox Fleuret. The film is also getting a Blu-ray disc release in Japan on 30 September.
